Cultural mediation and documented journeys through France's culinary heritage and its geographical indications — AOP, IGP, AOC. For curious travelers who want to understand a place, not just visit it.

Taste the place, read the culture.

My master's degree is in Food Identity — a national master's diploma whose subject isprecisely geographical indications and quality signs: what AOP, IGP and AOC actually mean on a French cheese, ham or bottle of wine. The related research has been published in a peer-reviewed academic journal. I work in Chinese, English and French, and hold a DELF B2. Most Chinese-language writing about French food stops at must-eat lists and Michelin stars. The French themselves talk about food in an entirely different register — terroir, season, and why a particular rule was written into law. Between those two languages there is almost no translation. That translation is my work.

Why this, and why me

Captured in the Wild

Guest Moments

"Standing ten metres from a pride of lions at dawn — I didn't breathe for a full minute. Our guide David knew exactly where to go and when."

Sarah Mitchell

"We booked the Grand Safari for our anniversary. Ten days, five parks, one wildebeest crossing. We are already planning a return trip."

Michael Thompson

"The Samburu route was completely off the usual trail. We saw reticulated giraffe and Grevy's zebra — species I'd only ever seen in textbooks."
